I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas. A percentage of my business is pledged for rescue, Paws for Charity is one way I can help animals in need.
Tell us about one of your favorite photo shoots/painting commissions?
It has to be one of my Bluebonnet mini-sessions. My client brought her 3 dogs, all very different personalities. She was sure after the shoot, and chasing dogs, and wiggling dogs, that there would be nothing she would like. One of her dogs is a senior and she especially wanted shots of her old dog. I got an email 1 week after the shoot that she thought she would have to put her old dog down, she had taken a turn for the worse, She was in tears. When she saw the proofs she was stunned. What a great remembrance for her old dog. I know I felt good after finishing the edits. It’s times like this I remember why I do what I do.
What is your favorite photo/art piece and why?
What are some things, people, or places that inspire you?
Do you have a certain "style" in mind when you create your images?
Do you ever find yourself in a creative dry spell? What do you do to get yourself inspired?
Do you have any creative mentors?
Tell us about a current project you are working on?
Tell us about a future project you have in mind?
Do you have a "life's embarrassing moment" you can tell us about one of your assignments?
Thanks Pat, for helping out with this project again this year!
